BORDEAUX ROOTS Founded in 1928, GAM AUDY (George & Anne-Marie AUDY) was re-launched in 1990 by Jean Michel Arcaute and Gerard Néraudau backed by the family estates in Bordeaux, Château La Croix du Casse, Château Jonqueyres and Château Clinet.
GAM AUDY then successfully developed the distribution of high-class wines of Bordeaux, mainly Primeurs campaigns.
CHAMPAGNE ROOTS The d’Aulan family has owned Piper Heidsieck since the 19th century, one of the five most important Champagne houses, whose production reached 5 million bottles. In the 70's, François d' Aulan creates in Argentina the brand Henri Piper, the first argentinean sparkling wine produced in accordance with the Champagne method.
In 1988, the d’Aulan family yields Piper to the group Rémy Martin and creates the family holding SOPALIA, (financial and hotel management) managed by François d’Aulan, President and Patrick d’Aulan, General Manager.
In 1999, Sopalia acquires Château Sansonnet in Saint-Emilion and launches the Alta Vista project in Mendoza, Argentina. Then the passion for great wines also led them to Tokaj, Hungary, to produce unique sweet wines at Château Dereszla.
